Mana Lomi 2 is not only learning advanced techniques but also understanding how and why accessing the communication system in the body is very important. It is a level of comprehension and skill that goes beyond mainstream massage therapy. It is designed as an adjunct to the Mana Lomi 1 sequencing. When you are working on a client (patient) using ML 1 and find a problematic area then the ML 2 is added, which in itself is very comprehensive.
What you will learn:
- A brief explanation of how the relationship between the muscle spindle fiber, Golgi tendon organ (GTO), and pain receptors work.
-
The four sequences of hands-on techniques and how and when to apply them.
- Tissue (skin) pull, compression, traction, and soothe. (TCTS)
- Insertions and origins are demonstrated.
- Table and chair techniques.
- Side-lying techniques.
- How different parts of the body require different approaches.
- How to address individual muscles.
- Body position and vector.
